I can confirm that. Dm6 D+F+A+B melody is F. I still maintain girl is off by 10% or my mp3 wavered kishmu. ilayaraja is spot on when he sings. Maybe producer had budget problems kishmu, so couldnt afford more studio time, not IR's fault :

 

yup and i say it here on IGT now. thats what i noticed first when i heard it.
F# is part of Bm... F is part of Dm6 or B half-dim and so on...

 

i agree it sounds like Bm to me too

listen to the song at 4:02 when ilayaraja sings. there is no ambiguity.

andholanam: please don't accept unless you really feel it is so. Like Jay said, listen to IRs version of that line. I also don't think Jency is way too off - she could be little, still I am able to decide its F and not F#.

dude its one note man when in doubt, this is what i do... i skip the ambigous portion

like say for eg u dont know if its C major or C minor, then play C power chord : always works.
