    Hi All,

    I'm a just beginner.
I've been told to not use Metronome as it may not allow our heart to feel the Beat.
Beat & Timing needs to be felt by the heart and so...

Could some one help me whetehr i can use Metronome or not?

I think u need to listen it too, that too slower than heartbeat rate. Feel is important but u wont be able keep up with the reflex part of it at the first and you need to understand the theory part too. After some years of practice, when you can hold it all together and if you really understand the music...feel will automatically come...
until then, play safe, play by the rules...use a metronome...hear your beats loud and clear...
    my two rupees...:D...

PS: Unlearn is the hardest thing to do because your opponent will be you...one victim can only say that... :) :p

    alpha1 I BLUES!

Not everyone is born with perfect pitch.
    Therefore we all use tuners.
(some ppl don't even get the relative pitch)

Not everyone is born with perfect sense of timing.
Therefore we use metronome (or a rhythm keeper).
