Well it is true for some people. Electronic media makes it easier for things to catch your eye, so your attention span is shortened. You only want briefs, and not the whole story. You're likely to know what the headlines are, but no further. The purpose of the internet of the internet to a large extent is accessibility to instant and accurate pin point information. You want to know only what you are searching for and nothing around it. I still love reading books and newspapers.
