Infatuation - A Maiden Fairer than You

Its just a funny interpretation for how men fall in love every time they see a beautiful woman! Normal of-course, but not love , its Infatuation.


Trodding aimlessly on a paved path,
mind not on the job at hand.
I see a maiden opposite of the road,
and forget all my errands.

The fairest dame on earth,
crosses right in front of me.
And my mind wandered to the future,
Falling into a deep reverie.

My body stays frozen on the street,
how beautiful you are,
how well we fit each other,
Like a flower and the bee.
We'd roam free together,
in our blissful company.
Warm sunshine on our backs,
and wind blows, ever so slightly.

Yes, I've begun to love you,
and i shall care for you.
My life is all yours,
and my heart belongs to you.

As my thoughts turn towards matrimony,
you turn around and walk away.
Unaware of a shattering sound,
my heart breaking...
Rejected and dejected,
I move forward too,
to look at the serenest view,
A maiden fairer than you.
