    I just registered with this site and Im also new to non-western styles of playing guitar. Any suggestions on what artists I should listen to to get a better feel.

    as suggested junoon, euphoria, strings.....but i believe their music not so deep so u'll loose interest very soon...watever it is, try and check the hindi tab section...in IGT.
