IIT ALL INDIA RANK:1 a lad from my town!!!

This world is full of strange species(people) but some guys pull it to the extreme.
Now this guy Piyush Srivastava in his 1st attempt secured the 1st rank in the toughest exam of the country!!! :nw:

Not only this....he was first in ISC boards this year with 98.5%.....1st rank in AIEEE and sadly 2nd rank in state level engg exam : hehe
AND ALL THAT WITHOUT ANY COACHING!!! :nw:

Gosh...how much do i envy him

Now he will be offered lakhs of cash from all the coaching institutes to make him their so called student...his interviews would be shown nationally....man..his life is made.

he must be going to IIT kanpur i guess. convey him that Ex-IITian is congratulating him.

guys i think we need to change our mindset. any boy/girl who tops is suddenly billed as 'the' student whom everyone shud model. the toppers are made celebrities. the ppl whu cudnt make it are labelled as failures. give a thouight for them. everyones not a born genius. doesnt mean we shud treat the toppers as gods and let the others feel like they are worthless. the medias doing just that . i hope u guys gettin me. i just cudnt hold back on this. and yeah 'Ex-IIT dood' .. u r great !

 

Congragulations to him....... Hope he makes it big and uses himself well ....... Not finally end up as a drug addict or..... Work for Damn Infosys.... Or Wipro or TCS......

 

hey nemo......i got nothing against you....but just imagine if u havent watched a movie from class 6th....havent played a game....never visited a coffee shop or restaurant tha whole of your life....never bought anything but books....and have been studying all the way long while the so called failures were roaming with friends...then that hard work is certainly to be praised by all.....and failures?well they would have been called failures if they had worked hard...cos hard work always pays...

 

rust_in_pain u do realize that each one of us is different. not everyone can emulate that boy.. rather not everyone wud want to be like him. i think its just some beaten thinking in the society that hard work only means sitting in front of books for endless hours. and then everyone expects u to take inspiraion frm that guy/girl when u know u r not him/her.
and as for not goin to any movies or not having any sort of recreation.. i believe its not a thing that everyone shud try to emulate. u shud know whats best for u.
i somehow totally hate this mentality of ppl that bookworms are god..

okay leave the bookworms ...if one works hard in any field say cricket practices hard and plays well ...everyone's gonna appreciate him....isnt it....u can only b in the limelight if u ve done something diff frm others...i m not talking only bout studies....and why not....wouldnt u like that ur hard work isnt appreciated because some other guys have the feeling that everyone's diff. and bookworms r stupid?

 

hey rust in pain ........hard work is always appreciatated.but with hard work one should bare good moral values.even if u work very hard n reach the level of perfection where u r satisfied but u dont bare a good nature or moral values its of very little use.take 4 example shoab akthar.every body in the world agrees to the fact that he is one of the most devaststing bowler today.but because he is not disciplined or dosent follow some moral values he is kept out of the team even when he is fit.every one who wants to succed works hard but one who stands diffrent frm all is the one who has some good moral values n discipline.(which i barely have )
