I downloaded the whole Roadrunner United album.

Well I'm giving a listen to it as I type this...so far I kinda like it though it reeks of Nu metal in some areas.

There are are two songs featuring James Murphy and Steve DiGiorgio, those were pretty kick ass. Theres another song featuring Andy LaRoque on guitar, some real nice work! Sean Mallone is another song but that one has Dani Filth....**** DANI FILTH!!

Anyway, I'm liking the album overall...death/black/thrash metal extremists may not enjoy the album because some songs do sound kinda Nu Metal.

Hell i think im going to buy the album.

 

What the f? I only have one song from that album called dagger, and that sucks. How could you commit such a crime?

Annihilation by Hands of God- Has a kick ass James Murphy solo, Steve DiGiorgio on bass and that new Cannibal Corpse guy ( i keep forgetting the guy's name) on guitar.

Theres another song called Constitution Down, it too features Steve DiGiorgio on bass and has features some kick ass guitarists doing some real impressive trade-off solos.

The mp3 of "Annihilation By The Hands Of God" is just a 27 minute mp3 full of silence. I've heard really long atmospheric and simplistic songs but this? :shock:

Damn. The drummer is really good. Maybe i should start listening to slipknot. Good song even though its a bit jump up and downish

 

What did you think of the guitar-work?

 

Quite good, but its kind of common to be impressed by a death metal guitarist. Nice solo 3:10 into the song.

 

Its James Murphy after all!

 

It really resembles death. Or maybe a mix of death and morbid angel. But I dont really like the riff which comes at about 30 seconds into the song (too numetalish) but the rest of it could actually make a quality death metal song.
