i cant get The format of chords

    hi friends,,,
    i am sumit

    i am not able to get th format in which u r posting the chords of aadat-jal!!!!
    can't u post in nodes form??
    or please tell me how to understand it!!!

    d----------------------------------------------------|

    wot do u mean by these kind of chords any body please help me out

    Sumit,
    the format u have posted is Arpeggio
    the numbers 6 6 4 on diff strings are the notes on the fretboard...
    so if u see like
    e--------2-------------------------------------------|
    b------3---------------------------------------------|
    g----2-----------------------------------------------|
    d--0-------------------------------------------------|
    a----------------------------------------------------|
    e----------------------------------------------------|
    thats an D chord the easiest chord i guess :p: so 0 2 3 2 are the fret numbers...Attaching an picture so u can have an idea and its a C chord in the attachment picture...

    what you have given here^ is called TABS format and not chords(i.e, u pick one note or notes at a time and not strumming which is done when chords are given)...in order to learn how to read/play it(tabs) check this link-
