How to read tabs?

    Hi,
    I have started learning guitar for the last 3 months.
    I dont know how to read the tabs given by fellow members of the community.
    Could any of my friends in the community tell me how to read the tabs?
    I mean the link where i can learn the basics of reading.

    I want to play some of the songs like
    Chura liya hai tumne jo dil ko
    Papa kehte hai bada naam karega
    Ye sama sama hai ye pyar ka
    etc.

    Please help
