Last ni8 a boy of my colony played "dum maro dum" (starting rhythm). He used only the lowest (e) string and nothing else. No capo nothing like that. I asked him for the tabs but he didn't give me. Is anyone here who can give me those tabs?
Thats easy bro.... the song originally is in D major scale.... So, up it to E major scale and you can play it on the last string without using the other strings... There are more than one ways to do it... but this should serve your purpose well ....Dum Maro Dum......Mith Jaye Gum....Bolo Subaah Shyam E|--2-45-45-----------------2-2-45-45--------------0-0-2-4-2-4-------------|| .....Hare Krishna Hare Ram E|--5-4-5-4-5-4-2------------||

you could also try to play it with 3-56-36----- 3-3-56-36----1-1-3-5-3-5---6-5-6-5-6-5-3.... That would be Fmajor scale. The only difference is the pitch.
I asked about the starting rhythm played before the song. What you wrote there is not that what I'm looking for! I'm talking about the main rhythm of this song. Hope you guys understand>>>>>>>>>>>>!
Actually.... this sounds better> E>-0-5-7s8----8-8-7s8s7s8--------lll the last part , pick when you are on 7th fret, then slide ur finger to 8th, back to 7th ,and back to 8th again.
Don't have the guitar with me right now. Its pretty easy. e-------0h1----1---1----1---0h1--------0h1---1---1---1----0h1---------- B----3-------------------------------3----------------------------------- G-2-------------------------------2-------------------------------------- https://indianguitartabs.com/f6/chords-intro-tabz-dum-maro-dum-e-n-j-o-y-13326.html#post140400 Key is D minor. If your friend was using just one string - he probably doesn't know how to play the guitar.
@natty_sem- yes u can play the intro with the high E string only with just a little bit use of open B string ...here it goes ..check it out ... Dum maro dum I discovered my own. Here it goes: Put your ring finger on D string on 7th fret, pinky finger on G string on 7th fret, index finger on B string on 5th fret and the middle finger will be used to hammer on B string on 6th fret. Now strum D string (7th fret), G string (7th fret), B string (5th fret) and hammer on 6th fret on B string. Once you start you'll get the sound and you guys can play the rest notes yourselves. Hope this will work there as it works here. Regards.
