    Hi,
I am getting a brand new fender deluxe HSS from singapore in december. I am getting it in a flight case as Singapre airlines doesnt allow instruments on board. How do i avoid paying custom?....if the retailer is not prepared to underwrite it?....it will cost a ton...

Even I am bringing my guitar along with me when I come back from Canada , Is there a tax or something that we have to pay at customs for these things?

Walk through the gate. It's your guitar, you took it to Singapore, you brought it back. Or you brought it from there.

My Washburn WI64D came out of the airport with no questions asked.
