How should i learn to play solo..lead

    hey guys... how should i learn to play solo lead..right now i cant do it..cuz my fingers are not working fine on frets..i can play chords..but i really want to learn lead guitar...

    ok dude it's me again.. u need to do some finge exercises .. (argh!! don't get me wrong here).. try to .. move.. ur fingers..

    let's say... like this..

    do such kinda practise.. u'll be really good in a while.. !! u can check out.. olga.net and ultimate-guitar.com for more finger exercises..

    hey ...knight..

    hey dude..in think there is only one person in IGT who really want me to learn some good guitar...thanks dude.. well first of all..i really dont know how to play this..pattern....

    i mean which finger..to put on which fret..to play..and one more thing.. it will take some time or its a short term..course.. i mean what do you think ..how much time its gonna take me to learn all these skills...

    start using ur first three fingers.. first.. and yeah one more thing.. guitar needs patience.. friend.. !! so don't loose hope ok.. keep praticing ..

    learn a few scales
    and practice it
    your fingers will start to work fine on the frets

    Do chromatics, practice a few scale and develop your picking skills. You must have flawless alternate picking if you want to play good lead guitar. Learn techniques as hammer ons, pulling offs, bending etc. Work efficiently using a metronome, always keeping check on progress and never giving up. Try parts of a solo using your new knowledge, have fun :grin:
