hello friends, see i m in big dilema right now.... i donno wat should i do.... the prblm is--> i m having some around Rs.25k-30k n want to spend them on guitar n gears . but this is not the prblm... i want to buy fender strat...n right now i m having givson jumbo eagle ( which is having internal pickups which r very poor but fr time being ok in performance ). so tell me whether i should buy some good processor n amplifier with that money( 'coz i can use my givson guiar with it ) n go fr the guitar in nxt2 months or should i get guitar first n go fr processors afterwards.... plz suggest me something... thank u !
hi brokensword, i think that a fender strat will itself cost u arnd the same 25k atleast . so u wont have any cash left for amp or processor . also u say uve been playing an electric alredy so u might be having an amp . otherwise if u decide to buy a decent amp and processor , it'll cost u almost half ur budget . so might hae to scale down ur ambitions for the kind of guitar . i wud say that u get a processor coz without it ur guitar playing wud get a little one dimensional.. isn't it . u can play a whole range of things with a processor. bye !
@broken brother my humble suggession isif u can afford 25-30k, than go for branded guitars, i maen buy a yamaha pacifica, its a very good guitar im playing not very long but i love satriani, vai type instrumental music, and i can play it by this guitar it sounds good and it costs only 12k, i want to mention u that i ve also ibanez jemm777 which my friend gifted me when he returns fron america but brother i m so involve in pacifica that most of the time i use it, any ways its my choice, back to the point from remaning money u can get digitech rp80 guitar processor intrestingly it has 80 patches plus drum sequences for jamming or practicing and it costs 7k, i m sure u can buy reasonable amp from remaing 11k. if still confuzed fell free to ask. o.k
