nope never... ive been giving presentations in frnt of 100s...but never felt anything i kinda try making it a little casual.. never tried anything in music....loong back i was singing some crap in front of a small crowd with my friend on the guitar.....and i forgot the lyrics..but made up for it with humming and stuff... infact the crowd appreciates if u acept your mistakes and take them in a sporting fashion....too bad the same is not with mumbai metalheads
I get very nervous.. And b'coz of this fact i never do stage prformances..Even i dont play it in public..:..I like to play my guitar on my own..!
not that i have felt till now ... but yeah playing guitar makes me clumsy ... i somehow feel that everything is running in slow motion ... and i am going off-time ... dunno why but it happens ... :annoyed: muhuhahhahaa. .. that has happened actually and i did play offtime ... whcih i later calrified as my staeg expermient ... :grin: otherwise ... i got no qualms singing / barking / speaking / acting / playing.. .etc on stage ...
What Butterflies. I get dragons in my stomach. On Stage with Drums I was pretty comfy and was super excited too. My first Gig in guitar was also cool. Was really excited and except for small mistakes things were all good. From then on, it's major dragons in my stomach on stage. First Gig was cool maybe because I was playing good songs.
^ well in that reference i have felt nervous only when i played some songs which i wanted to sound perfect ... and ofcourse i couldnt ... and the more i couldnt the more i felt frust ... which led to positive feedback (that means it kept on building) ... that was quite harrowing ...
i got butterflies in my stomach while even givin d stupid college audition for the solo singing thng at our fest... : i got selected though :grin:
butterflies come mainly when we try too hard to be perfect and showcase ourselves ... so i can guess that u really wanted to win the audition ...
Man. That's true. My first gig I screwed only on my favourite song. I practised that solo a lot and I was always thinking that I should play that the best. That became the worst.
never performed n e thing realted 2 music on stage but hav performed in front of around 10-15 ppl... didnt feel nervous or ne thing..
i always get this horrible burning sensation in my stomach before every gig.. but now im kinda getting used to it..i dunno if thats what u meant by butterflies. i become a nervous wreck..only that i dont show it too much.. but if the first songs played well....and the crowd is not throwing stuff.. i loosen up..and enjoy myself.
