either you depend on other people's mercy, OR you donate points to me and get reps (you DO get reps for donating points)
depends upon how much you donate.... also your current rep holding. That means if you donate to me say a 1k points you get more rep than i vud for donating the same amount... DISCRIMINATION
its 100 points per green dot.it doesnt mean that you get one dot for each 100 points you donate.for example:: dot 1 - 200 points. dot 2 - 500 points. dot3 - 800 points. its goes that way.each dot carries a different weightage.but the ones given by others to you carries more wieghtage!

hmm...i just have 17 points donated to me by two people here......and i have some 1500 of my own.....so where do i stand.....and even if i write some great stuff or nethin...most people wont even give ne credit and stuff.....i mean i never felt like giving points to someone...(i didnt know this system actually./)..so the others surely must feel the same??
I feel that there is lack of info on how and why reps works. It would be nice that whenever a new user get registered, (s)he receive a PM for IGT admin explaining him/her about points and reps.
i would say it s better to keep this reps and points as a side quest in this site than revealing all the info.

i say the reps thing and electric guitar thing shud be put up on sticky as the most common threads on igt.
