for the strumming pattern...I follow the simple up n down thing...it works pretty fine..a.s long as you match your speed with the tune

Bm is played like this (Barre chord) 1st finger barres the 2nd fret.

X24432(654321) strings.

F# is similar to F Major's barre form..just put it up one step
Barre 2nd fret with 1st finger.
