i wanted to ask you, i know that this is a guitar site and stuff, but i only know hw to play piano, and for me, when u guyz write C, that means notes c, e, and a on the left hand together. before i ask any further questions, i was just wondering if any of u people know hw to play piano?? thus, my next question is, if any of u do know hw to play the piano, on the right hand, what would a chord C be? i mean i've tried playing c, e and a on with the right but it just doesn't clash!!! and i was wanting to play this song called God of Wonders for my graduation with my class but for some reason it's not working out.... does anyone know the musical notes to the song?? well thanks anyway....hp u guyz were able to understand my question!ttyl!

Consider having a look at the beginner's section where people discuss in detail about notes, chords and scales. Also a C means a major chord of the 'C' note, composed of C, E and G (not A).

You can play chords on the piano (with either hand) and that sounds just like if it would be played on the guitar (that's because notes are notes, after all) and once you get that, you can start playing chords on the piano as well.

thank you for your help... really appreciate it.... i was watching my music teacher play piano with the guitar chords and i asked her hw she does it and she told me that she uses the chords which are played with the left hand, passes it to her right hand, adds notes, and plays it... so it's sorta messed up actually.... so i don't think i'll try to play it with the chords, it's possible but i'm not the best musician and i hv trouble with reading and understanding music for some reason.... o well.. thank you anyway!!!!
