Hi, I have a big problem....see i haf been playin for over an yr now....i recently bought my first electric...the prblm is dat i focused more on riffs from the beginning(dont knoe why), and really didnt do much bout the rhythm and strumming...now i cant play whole songs even now(and riffs n solos arent good either)....this is really frustrating but i just cant leave my guitar....can ne of u help me on how to go about it.......thnx
Simple, start playing whole chords and start practicing scales. and songs that require full chords to be played Additionally what you cna do is replace the riffy songs with chords. That means supposed you are playing a song which has riffs in it, try replacing those riffs with chords, and try to make it sound good by strumming. The fact is you gotta do these thigns on your own. And hey, practice on clean tone, slight overdrive is acceptable, but no distortion.
