Hi Guys, My keyboard player wants to get a new keyboard. He has Yamaha PSR 675 in his mind to buy one. The budget we are willing to spend is around 15k INR. Can you recommend any good keyboards? He just loves PSR models. Just let me know if there are any good keyboards around 15k INR available in Mumbai, India. Any kind of Suggestion and recommendation are welcome and appreciated. peace.

In India, we don't have much options to look on. Casio/Yamaha are more common. And there are few dealers for korg and roland... and nothing more. For starters, yamaha psr models will do. If you have already played enough of PSRs and wanted to upgrade., then looking for synthesizers will be the best option. (look synthesizers are different from the general keyboard term). For the budget of 25K you can PSR 550, and save 3-4K. I think that costs 21K. And since you told you are a beginner, i suggest you get out the Yamaha PSR models. The reason is, they are easy to operate than synthesizers. There are synthesizers available at 25 K range, like Roland's Juno D, Yamaha's S03 (semi synth).. but if you are new to keyboards you MAY get fed up with their interface and operation.
