    i am newbi and learning the guitar but em confused with this western codings as i am having the typical indian 1 2 3 4 5 6 notations

    so could any one help me undrestanding all dis...

    MINE NODES ARE SOMETHING LIKE DIS..
    from top (where thumb is dere ) to till end

    1...!...!...!...!...!...!....!....!...!...!...!...!... (the thin one string)

    3...!...!...!...!...!...!....!....!...!...!...!...!...

    now

    could any one help me how can i make understand the codes of here ...

    tried many times but couldn't

    now mine prob is that i know only

    so i got the notaions like dis

    2/5(means second string 5th code)


    for like song
    tuje dekha to yeah jana sanam
    2/5 2/5 2/5 1/7 1/5 1/5 2/8 1/5 1/8 1/7

    some what like dis ...

    now i wanna learn dis edgh all western form which i am confused

    can anyone help me out .... please

    What you're talking about are not some "western code"!
    These are called tabs.

    In eBGDAE, the 'e' stands for the first string (thin one) and E stands for the 6th string (thick one). The other letters stand for the remaining 4 strings, in order from thinnest to thickest string.

    These letters (e or B or G etc..) denote the note that is heard if these strings are plucked in open.

    The number in front of each of the string denotes which fret to play that string on.
    It is read from left to right..

    Here's an example -

    e--0------------------------------
    B----1----------------------------
    G------2--------------------------
    D--------3------------------------
    A----------4----------------------
    E------------5--------------------

    this means play the following -

    1st string open (0-open)
    then play 2nd string 1st fret
    the play 3rd strinf 2nd fret.. and so on..
