I searched the forum for chura liya hai I got one good tab. But i cant get this thing: El------------------------------------------------- B|------1-0-----------------------------4--------- G|-2-2-------2--2-2/4--2---0/2/0-----2----------- D|------------------------------------------------ now what does this 2/4 or 0/2/0 mean? How'd we play it?
THe Slash refers to slide. 2/4 = put your finger on 2nd fret, pluck the string. While teh string is vibrating, slide your finger (pressed down on the string) and bring it to stop at 4th fret. Note: the string must be vibtrating even when you bring your finger to 4th fret. Only then it will be executed correctly. 0/2/0 should mean you pluck the string with no fretting, bring in your finger press on first fret and slide it to 2nd. and then again slide the fingewr back to the nut (0th fret). All this should be done very fast and fluently.
thanks for the info dude, really, but regarding the 0/2/0, i did as you told, but after plucking without any fretting, then putting the finger while its vibrating stops the vibration so no sound comes, then how to do it, plz correct me if i am wrong( i know i am )
after plucking the open note u can fret the first fret with a little force so that it does not stop vibrating and then slide to the second fret
