Hey fellas, I am from Pune and planning to buy a guitar. Needless to say that i'm a newbie. So have very little knowledge. As far as i could gather from the net, a Givson seems to be a decent choice. Somebody suggested a Giveson 150 Std.... on the contrary i could find some -ves for the make and found suggestions for Hobner series. Huh! am pretty confused right now.... i dont want to spend too much as i ahevnt even started playing properly... but need a decent one so that i am motivated to play! Secondly, since i am not from Pune ... need help in where can i buy it from in the city??? I want a store which is not over priced. I visited one on East Street yest. ... but the guys seems to add 5-6 hundred bucks to every model. So am looking for a place where i can get a good deal! (Good price but not compromising on quality) Hope to get real help from all you guys n gals! coz i've seen some real good knowlageable folks out there in this forum!!! So dude! Awaiting lightning advices ~Rock On~
hi crave. awaaz in clover center is very expensive shop.prices the owner quotes are very high. you can visit music concept.it's a new shop in pune at salunke vihar.really nice guitar are in stock at good prices. you can go for givson or hobner these are ok guitars for beginners.

there is one shop on tilak road -navdikar next to music lovers.you will get givson,hobner and gb&a guitars there within your budget. music concept is near nibm. do u know where nibm is located?
Thanks Rohit! I bought a Hobner Jumbo ... this saturday from ABC chowk .. from Mhendale... i aske dfew pppl i know and they suggested that name .. got for 3500/- ... hope it wasnt too much .. lemme know what u think!
^Nopes .. you didn't pay much .. Rs3500 is the standard rate .. You got the best guitar for yourself given your budget and the range of guitars .. Hobners are cool .. Enjoy!
went to the SB shop..its pretty good...small, but good..theyve got a good set of tryable ibanezes...couple of 12 string acoustics too...marizio paf pro evos etc..and other typical accessories...i think its a little costly tho...like 3-400 more then the bajaao prices..
