    Hi,

After years of acoustic, I have saved enough to finally buy an electric (I am a student and hence short on funds).

My budget is around Rs. 25000 to Rs. 35000 ($550 to $780 )

I have 3 options and am clueless about which to go for. They are as follows:

    1>
Gibson Les Paul Vintage Mahogany Electric Guitar (pre-owned but sparingly used and in good condition)

This is the only decent Les Paul that I can afford, that too preowned. But it would be a real Gibson Les Paul that i can ever buy. Model has been discontinued, but some people suggest that i should DEFINITELY get one if available asap.
The reviews on the net are hugely positive.

    2>
ESP LTD EC1000 Deluxe Series Electric Guitar
This is Les Paul style, but within budget if buying new.
The reviews are overwhelmingly positive here also.
    3>
New Ibanez RG or S series within this price range: Model RG370DX looks good. Here again, huge popularity and recommendation.
BUT, someone advised me against it because of a Floating tremolo, which will be difficult for beginners. Is that so?

Genre : mainly rock & metal, learning the blues & hence a bit of that

    Thanks a lot
