hi guyz i got a guitar tuner in my pc........well for standard tuning it is set with for 1st E= E4 2nd B= B4 3rd G= G3 4th D= D3 5th A= A3 6th E= E2 AND FOR OTHER TYPES OF TUNINGS YOU HAVE CUSTOMIZE THEM YOURSELF... CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT WILL IT SUPPOSED TO BE FOR DROP D TUNINGS thanks in advance -------- Yousuf
Drop the 6th string to D2 instead of E2, rest are same. i.e.: 1st E= E4 2nd B= B4 3rd G= G3 4th D= D3 5th A= A3 6th E= D2
^ i thought it was D3 for drop d. anyway the tuning i use for all my playing is D standard or one step down...starting from the lowest 6=D3 5= G3 4= C4 3=F4 2=A4 1=D5 I use my friend's baritone for the really low tuned stuff...if you feel like experimenting you can tune to B standard ( i think thats whats its called)..ok from lowest to highest- 6= B2 5= E3 4= A3 3=D4 2=G4 1=B4
