guys a query .are there any shops in delhi where i could possibly get my strings replaced.? i dont know how to do it nor i know anyone who does ------------------------------------------------------------------------- life is short and sweet. naah...... its long and ugly
^^ yeah..i think u can get that done, u can ask the shopkeeper to do it for few bucks, some r even kind enough to do that for free! but u have to learn how to restring one day, initially uL make terrible mistakes like stringing in wrong direction but then i feel, its important to learn. i did my first restringing on my own...yippee :Tongue2:
i cannot evn tune properly in 20 mins .. forget restringing ... actually nevr tried.. vini, were u success the first time or broked it.. now u do restring on ur own.
@sacho How long have u been playin the guitar for? In 3-4 months u shud be able to train ure ears enuff to be atleast close to perfect standard tuning. Bout restringin its not hard at all..go to a shopkeeper and ask him to show u how he restrings the guitar. He'll tell u step by step what to do. You can then try it at home..dont worry bout the strings..they wont break. Just dont keep on tightenin em. Hope this helps.
@cumming soon any guitar shop obviously not the paanwallah next door! @sachoo the first time..as i said, i did it in wrong direction...and once the string even snapped..then second time it was better and third time, perfect so thats how it was wid me!
@vini . do u buy your gear from a paanwallah? i meant to ask u for a particular shop that would do it without any hassles. --------------------------------------------------- cant be nice dont be rude
any guitar shop!! :annoyed: anyone will do it "without hassle" if only ur giving some dough!! "particular shop"--i dunno coz i myself never got it done from a shop, did it myself like i said!... y dont u just go to any shop nearby and ask for it!
guitar shops to be avoided no matter which ever guitar you buy...but if you happen to live in delhi then you must have heard the name of this shop " Bharat Music House", the one in lajpat nagar....dont buy any gear from those a**holes....though on the day of making the purchase they will be very sweet to you but their after sales behavour sucks to the core...they behave as if they are doing some sort of charity...they are rude and illmannered once you have made the purchase...m crying till date why i made the purchase from that shop...rather i should have tried the "ON-STAGE" shop....i would have been 100 times happier....God save those who will make purchase from that shop... you can also try bhargawa's in daryaganj....they are cool as well...
