yea nice duel. oi "duel" ta purotai steve vai er bajano. cinema te ralph machado oshadharon bhabe playing er acting korechhe. that duel has one of the most played guitar solos ever, called "eugene's trick bag" which is a taken from a paganini violin caprice.

My reaction exactly. First time I heard Vai, I had to go and take an antacid. All that noise gave me acidity.

Petrucci is an incredible guitarist, and one of the most melodious I have ever heard. He has the capability to exceed even Satriani, if he can make some likewise compositions.

 

yes, petrucci definitely technically satriani'r cheye better. his compositions are also outstanding. all the songs in "suspended animation" are really mind blowing. but satch is satch man.
also, i've had the feeling that when shredding petrucci is not that melodic. he is definitely a more melodic shredder than batio or jow stump, but not as melodious in shredding as the yngwie of old times, and, more notably, shawn lane.

yes if you download it from the net, it has all kinds ofmisleading file names attached to it. actually neither satriani nor stevie ray vaughan has anything to do with it. steve vai played the whole thing.
