good guitar books

Guys, I searched this site for any thread on guitar books, but didn't find any. Please advise me on which books are good. The topics I am looking for are music theory, technique and a few simple songs, may be.

 

Check "AB Guide". That's a solid theory book even prescribed in good music schools.

Mave Depending on which city you are in, i can tell you places to go.. go to crosswords on JM road and check out.. Last time i was there, I pickup all guitar related books..

 

yeah, I was thinking of doing that this weekend, jay. but could ya tell me the names of some good books, that'd really help. thanks.

 

Guitar Handbook is the best so far.. Try anything with basics.. Look for this book called Play The Guitar it costs about 3500 book hard back.. Checjk it out//

 

How to write Songs on Guitar by Rikky Rooksby is another good book.
