OK If you never heard Jazz music before you will definitly foind it wierd and more prog than any progressive rock/metal music you ever heard. Jazz guitarists pwn rock/metal guitarsists ass anytime. Allan Holdsworth is usually more Bluesy than Jazz, but here he is into trhe Jazz
?????:help: Holdsworth is the most extreme jazz-oriented guy I have ever heard..crazily harmonically complex. I don't think he's ever played a blues lick in his life
Mistake. I got confused with some other name. : That other person is the one who is blues players with Jazz chops. This guy is Allan Holdsworth only.
Frank Gambale has one of the best picking techinques there is. just like EVH is credited with tapping this guy is credited with sweep picking . He's basically a jaz fusion guitarist . His picking style is mostly on his theory of odds and even notes per string . but he's baap at it !!
THE SHOW WAS AMAZZZING....... Virgil Donati on drums was the High Light. Vigil is probably the best Drummer I have seen... his Independence was ammazing... Frank and Bunny were great too.
