Thank you my man, always a pleasure. If i manage to learn one thing or convince another person of something then all the time spent is justified. Coming back to the topic at hand, you make a britney spears cover and i'll go berserk on your a$$. lol. Well, see, what we're talking about is the crowd here, of which the judges play no part whatsoever. Two seperate entities. And in the crowd you liked it. As i already said most of the people have no sense to distinguish talent from moronic flamboyancy. Ah well, i'm glad to hear that the judges redeemed them, all things music deserve respect. Even fat_kax falls into the "respected" category for attempting and making music.(Conveniently ignore the fact that it's quite hard on the ears) :grin: My 50 cents.

regret i could not make it to the event ..was damn busy.

in my opinion it was the fault of the oraganizers. When u have a battle of
bands where bands of any genre perform .. the oraganizers
ought to have thought abt sequencing the bands in some order ..so that
people who dont appreciate a particular kind of music (say folk) could have
gone 4 a refreshment break when it was being performed.

battle or no battle ... in my opinion brute force are *the best* band in
pune ...and no wonder they were winners. They did very well in campus rock
idols but were outperformed by 'medusa' in the western region finals

...so if i was there ... AND if i wud have heard talaash performin piya
basnti b4 brute force..i mite have appreciated their folk music..but if i
wud have heard them after bruteforce ... i'm sure i wud'nt have been able to
digest them....coz once u are ina headbanging mood ... u crave for more of
it. its like ..coffee is tasty & refreshing ...but once u're 2 pgs down with
bacardi...u dont want coffee...and nuthing but the 3rd peg!

Talaash performed before brute force .. No doubt brute force deserved to win(though I liked resonance from bombay a lot too maybe more than brute) but its bout appreciating other music too ..

No fault of organizers i guess coz no matter what rules u lay down. . such things are bound to happen .. I think disturbed put it together very nicely ..

n Dude .. Strange brew are better n more professional than brute aren't they ?

I guess it is all fair enough.

Had your parents (and other ppl's parents) gone this BoB, rest assured all the rock and metal bands would have been booed off.

In present scenario, whatever happened was I guess youth's way of getting back at elders (ofcourse in an abstract sense).
