no need of any software my friend there is a way (by dos) that we can lock a folder if u want to know how ill tell you....................................
@rakesh. if u r talkin of ren folder_name new_folder_name(ascii characters) attrib new_folder_name (+a +r) +s +h.. it doesnt work in xp.. if u r talkin of sumthin else.. do spill.. wud like 2 kno.
I never need such things cause I don't have any Top - Secret files on my comp and nobody except me even opens my comp.
sorry dear...if you are in internet...hackers are always playin with your machine..they are constantly uploading files from your machine.....and a mere firewall can't stop the hacker from entering your machine...this software will not allow the guy to open your folder...anywhere...and on any computer.... :dance:
So if the hacker has this program then can't he open the files using it?? Or does it set a password or something?? Well I use my comp to listen to songs and surf or play games. Nothing important for hackers to upload.
i am clearing this to you...this software is for locking a folder by a password..the folder will not open until you type the original password.. : i guess even the hackers will not be able to open the file,,even if he has got the software..because if you type the password wrong 5 times in succesion..then it will hang up the pc and opt for current password.... :cen: then you will have to reboot your machine...... ...
it doesn't matter whether the software is good or not, what matters is the contents of the folder u r trying to lock!!!::I had one called Palm tree 3.3 which is somewhat okay!!!
