your right.. vinnie paul was a very talented drummer . Technically he was had unique concepts with the double bass and snare. Check out stuff like Domination , Walk , 5 minutes alone

Dude that it isnt derek roddy. THat is BOBBY JARZOMBEK!!!!! Honestly, bobby jarzombek is leagues ahead of derek roddy(and i happen to post frequently on the derek roddy forum- so i am giving you an unbiased answer). I have never seen a better metal drummer. He makes drumming look easy. So for the record, Bobby Jarzombek is my favourite metal drummer by far!!!
I dont know about who's better, but have a look at that video again. That is DEREK. It even says at the end, something like : "derek would like to thank..." And i can recognise when derek does his blasts or very quick beats. He also said
