Fast Guitar Picking???

Hi everyone!!! i've been playing guitar for the last 5 months and i ve a problem with my picking hand(right). My right hand works slower than my left hand. i cant move my left hand faster than my right hand up and down but my right hand is not able to coop up with left hand. please help me to improve my right hand techinque. and how can i pick faster. should i hold the pick lightly or tightly?? please help

 

Play legato style :grin:

Taht involves using only left hand.
