whats rong with the F# major scale ive been writing out the rest of the scales..i think i read it some place that its an exception..but the guy on the web rearranged the note names and made the major scale ''prettier'' following the pattern wwhwwwh i get F# G# Bb B C# D# and then F# and F  so what the hells wrong? can someone give me more intervals maybe for minor scales..and other different scales too... id also like to know the chord forumla for suspended.. ie 'sus' chords also can someone tell me what kinda scales, JAL,karavan, junoon use in their songs>?
thats right.. whoever told u its wrong is wrong himself - or myabe u misunderstood wats written.... pl.s give a weblink of where u found that theres an exception....
minor scale (relative minor) : R - 2 - b3 - 4 - 5 - b6 - b7 - 8 harmonic minor scale: R - 2 - b3 - 4 - 5 - b6 - 7 - 8 sus2 chord: R - 2 - 5 sus4 chord: R - 4 - 5 'lamhey' and 'addat' follow the progression [ vi - V - IV - V ] for example in lamhey its G#m - F# - E - F# in addat its C#m - B - A - B havent heard / analysed much of junoon/karavaan
@nemo: thanx man.. how bsus chord..is that the same as bsus2? or would they be R, 3, 5? or would that become a major chord? @deathDr: confusion is sorted thanx thanx you guys..appreciate it loads!!
a sus chord means u take out the 3rd and replace it with either a 2nd/4th... so a sus4 has R 4 5 and sus 2 has R 2 5 as nemo explained
