ever jammed for 10 hrs????

i came to know how it feels wen we jammed today for over 10 hrs.......... :dance: head is wobling...world is movin..i m seein guitars everywhere....heheh..nebody who is in this 10 hr club...share the experience here..but i had one hell experience today.....10 hrs jammin nonstop..................

 

yup..
its happened quite a few times...
i jammed once with a kick ass bassist and drummer..for 10hrs for arnd 4 days..
we didnt even jam on any songs..we just started improvising on the spot..and gave each other signals for time changes and key changes..
was fun.

 

lol...10 hourz is hell lot of time...ive jammed max of 5 hourz... but 10 !!

 

WOW.... 10 HRS... :shock: :rock: ROCK ON DUDE!

 

jamming is FUN.....i did it for 5hrs continuous...rite ther in front of the deck, wher the volume is highest....waiting for the nxt occasion now..
&yeah...head spins...body aches...legs say no to even walk...ears shout stop evn for the sound of 'wind chime'...but all that is worth it....

 

I had once rehearsed and practised for a recording 'session' for around 12 hours!
We had takes and retakes and some more retakes...hell!!! :
Fingers had swollen the next day! :shock:

 

nah. .. maximum of 7 hours.

 

umm continuously 10 hrs i cant say but longest jam we had was from

10 pm to 7 am

last time fir peena

and in between jammin lol

anyway ... no way .. havent jammed for that long ... and its not right to do so .. take breaks and all the rest of the precaution ... its easy to get carried away i know .. but i have seen people getting hurt like this ..

 

Jam sessions : that takes place in college fest : wher DJs or differnt Bands come....last year i was ther for Strings ...they rocked...i dont play guitar...& if i start singing..evry1 around wud run away :

...dude, never ever do that again...ull screw ur fingers up, and then u wont be able to play. Its like going to the gym...if u over exercise, ull pay the price.

 

I have done it several times with my previous jam band. We'd take smoke breaks and lunch breaks and spend easily about 12 hours in the jam room regularly. Other than that I used to practice for about 12 hours during weekend but now I am too lazy to even think about doing like that. When everything was going in excess, I couldn't even sleep. All my thoughts are guitars, guitars, keys, notes, fretboards in dreams. I was even wondering my sneeze was Major or Minor. Then I decided to give it a break and not to do it like that. End of it, it was all fun and pretty rewarding too.

 

^^ yup..i guess its just that phase when u play guitar that much..but its rewarding in the end.
but yea..uve got to protect urself..warm up well.

 

same here...i couldnt play a single note today on my guitar..it pained like nethin.....good i don write lefty..else my exams had a shot in the arm...heheeh.....
