looking for more sustain and less noise. Presently wen i use hi gain setting i get a lot of noise n wen i use noise suppressor,it kills the sustain specially on higher Frets a friend is sellin emg 81/85...should i get them or shud i save up for a new guitar? Theres space in electronics cavity for a 9v battery so no prob there. New Pups+their installation wud cost arnd 8-8.5k..bot the guitar for 18k...is it worth getting them or will they sound pathetic on my gio?
EMG 81/85 on a Gio is not worth... But if you plan to change your guitar in future, you can always swap the pickups.. So pickups are worth buying if you get a good deal.. (8k is not a good deal IMO)
