dreaming

The sweet sickly taste,
like the pink sugar lumps.
The warm breeze passing.
The sun shine brightly,
amongst the heavenly clouds.
My broken wings are ready to fly,
to abandon the fire below.
Leave the storm of the past,
with its thunderous clouds,
to my frozen rainbow.
But is this just a dream?
A want, a wish, a request?
Am i expecting more than i should?
