Don't speak Hindi, But want to play guitar with Indian songs lyrics Acoustic or Elect

Hello there, India babu's

I am a newbie at Guitar, My objective is to learn how to play the Indian Lyrics for myself and my wife.

Which guitar should I get? Acoustic or Electric! Classical

Lyrics in guitar language.

Help on some material.

I am Indian, but I don't speak hindi but our heart understands it.

what you basically want to play is rhythm guitar. so it would be wiser to buy an acoustic guitar first and learn to play rhythm.

 

ya acoustic is the best..and as far as hindi is concerned..i can give u loads of songs provided u understand it first..else no use jus playin without knowin wht ur playin...........

 

get an acoustic-----learn the basic chords----search for the song which u can play----listen to the song----get the chords----practice----play it

 

hey along with the accostic guitar get a chord dictionary .A chord dictionary will tell u the finger positions of all the chords.Then u can browse through this site and take chords and tabs for watever songs u want to play.the chord dictionary can b ur best tutor.
And rest depends how much u want ...
