hello, I heard from some people that its better to loosen the guitar string always and wen you ave to play tighten ten up and tune and play and again loose them. They say it will protect the guitar fretboard from bending due to contact pressure of strings Is this true .. its kind of annoying to do something like this
But its good to loosen after you're done playing...I personally do it and you should definitely do it if you have some low end guitar...
Good guitars are usually designed keeping the tension of the strings in mind. Bad ones... are going to warp no matter what you do.
if ur one is Chinese (Copies), DO IT!! else no need !!! if ur too much annoyed with this activity while keeping chinese one then atleast DO this activity when the weather is most likely to be changed, or WHEN you know you'll touch your guitar after weeks !!!
