Its really doesn't make sense in making such comparisons.
Both ruled in their type of music..
And speaking about Nirvana...Kurt Cobain was simply a genius as far as his compositions and his type of music is concerned.. hats Off to Cobain !!!

guyz.....chill i listen to opeth and i try to play him.....i haven't even heard of some of the bands you have listed.............look i suppose i am not expert at music but guyz....don't insult opeth unless you have balls(real ones).If u can make anything close to what they make and i'll lick your toes anyday.if u got balls post ur recording and as for showing of i can say some fukin names like tiamat and lamb of satan and what not but i don't have much ear for thrash .

i am not a poser but i can pretend(hahahaha).i love foreplay and i love bass-turd.....ewww their bass is so damn good (even better than Nirvana)and you know i love "The Posers" too they are awsome when they play without amps and mics.

And yeah i love "DIS_TURD_BED" with lots of underscores thrown in they are totally retarded .And wat the heck i forgot i listen to "BITCHING" a lot so keep it coming (lol). And i don't listen to Tiamat and Opeth though i have all the vedios and songs that they have ever made but as a poser and to prove my expertise in music so that i don't get left behind i must also include them in my list of favourite artists.
