Did anyone watch the movie, 300?

This is one movie I am eagerly waiting to see. Anyone from IGT seen it?

It's worth the wait, if you're going there with history in mind, dont. It's like watching a harry potter movie or Lord of the rings after reading the books. Historical inaccuracies as reviews point out, but at the same time, really, it's based on a bloody comic book. For people who revel in violence, hah, you'll orgasm. For people who like cinematic brilliance, try to catch in on an Imax, it is a one of a kind experience.

They were 300 and the persians were 800,000 or 1,000,000 or 500,000 (according to different accounts by Simonides, Herdotus' analysis) of course they kicked the Greek's asses. But the losses suffered by the persians were substantial, very much so, 20,000 (Herdotus) or 80,000 (Ctesias). That is what makes the Battle so memorable.

EDIT: So i guess what i was trying to say in retrospect is, contextually speaking, the persians got pwned.

the imax here in birmingham hasnt got 300 on its schedule yet ... the one in london is opening on 22nd march ..

 

apocalypto seems to be a good production, damn the censor board its gonna land up with an A rating

 

jus saw it .. awesome movie.. 10/10.. rather 300/300...

the direction and cinematography is cool... a must watch...!!

 

THEY are descendants of alexander's (sikander's) army. we have some of them too in himachal pradesh, in a place called Malana if i remember right.

and the route he took must be through iran and afghanistan . .wonder why we havent got any alexanders decendants over there .. could be that they didnt stay long enough to breed ..
