It's sad man. We're reaching a point where we have to accept the fact every morning that we might die today. I could've died yesterday. The lift in our office snapped and fell down 5 floors. and 12 people die on the mumbai locals everyday.

These are in regions where terrorism is not a usual threat. England is isolated and Western Europe does not have a terrorist threat hanging over its neck 24/7. If you look at other countries threatened by terrorism from neighbours around the world, our record is reasonably tame. You can't really divide the globe into India and the rest. That's what the US do.
