i think if youre getting them urself just remove the tags nd theyll not charge nything... otherwise i think its around 30%
44% to be exact...but if ur carrying it u wont have to pay a rupee...if they catch you tell them something like its an old guitar...
I got my Parker cleared from Customs.....The officer asked me to pay 17% as customs duty.....But I managed to talk my way out of it.....I was telling how poor musicians are and how she should help the musician community in India. I also offered to give guitar lessons to her son.....So I managed to get out without a single penny paid as customs ...She asked me to give a letter requesting for customs waiver...I gave it and it got waived....:beer:
