I read somewhere that stuff below Rs 25000 does not need to pay duty. How true is that? What about avoiding customs on it? Any general tips? Because the guys who're bringing the guitars along with them are kinda old. They really don't like hip people who'd feel at home playing along with Metallica power chords. This is somewhat urgent, because I need to buy the guitar in the next two or three days. Thanks, RK.
Thats what I posted a while back . Go to the customs website or give them a call to confirm that. don't remeber what its called so you may have to do a google search or similar.
