Any1 here who has played the Cort CR250??? Any idea how it compares with the Epiphone Les Paul 100 in terms of action, playability, sustain etc....Mostly for playing metal which among the two wud b better as they price almost the same...

Comparing Cort with Epiphone is like comparing Kerry King with Joe Satriani.... Close your eyes and buy the LP....

LPs are among the heaviest guitars ever so naturally has excellent sustain... The mahogany body gives you a warm rich and versatile sound which can adapt great to all genres....

And a Les Paul shaped guitar naturally would have a higher action since it has a tune o matic bridge...

But if you wan't a guitar with tremolo bar, go for the cort since LPs don't have trem systems..

Whatever may be, I prefer the Greg Bennett AV6 over both these guitars any day!! Costs a lot lesser than the Epi LP (about 18k less), has a neck thru construction, mighty sustain (lot better than both of these) and better pickups (duncan designed)....
