Hi John, Thanks for playing my version of chords and your feedback. My version is not always correct but I am confident that my version is almost close to our Legend's precise version. As far as validating posts from others, the moment I see the chords in their posts in IGT, I play them and in some posts, I personally feel that in few places, it can be tweaked to sound better (except posts from our Legend. I never challenge our Legend!). And I have also posted my version as a reply on their posts. But I don't get any feedback from the owner of the post (even after they explicitly give permission to validate their version) to tell me if my version is good or bad on some of the posts that I have replied in the past and recent past as well. If their feedback is Good - I take it as a compliment; Bad - I gladly take it as an improvement on my side and work on it. As the post owners don't reply, I presume that they get offended as I am poking into their posts and trying to steal-away their credit (which I have no intention of) by posting my version on top of their version. I purely see this Forum as a knowledge-sharing platform and I am not here to compete with anyone. So for this reason, I resist myself to post my version although I have tweaked it after playing their version for a lot of posts. Kind regards, Vijay
Hi VJ....Don't feel offended..Probably they are busy with their daily routine . .Some don't reply probably due to their availability and business...As for me , music is my only passion and I always accept the corrections since I am not good at all in transcribing ...But ever since the entry of some of the experts like you I have learnt a lot and I'm very much confident to attempt songs in transcribing. I had to thank all of you..I was a consumer only for many years in this group ...now I can contribute a little with my little knowledge . You have shaped me a lot ..Used to follow your videos in you tube also...As for me you can correct the entire version of mine at any time since I always believe that ' Music shouldn't go wrong , it has to be in a discipline order'...So be happy and I know your intention is sincere ... Superb Vijay. G6 and a subtle Gm are excellent pick ups. I hear G6 played throughout. Few extra chords in pallavi in my version. Hi Rajesh, Appadi podu! Thank you very much for your feedback on G6 and Gm. Yes... Gm chord was very subtle and quick and struggled very much to decipher the Bass note there to identify the chord. I am delighted to hear from you that it was the right chord! I slightly had a doubt if it was only G6 or G or mix of both in Charanam. So, vambu vendaam-nu, I kept it as G although I was not fully satisfied myself! Just now played your version. When playing your precise version, it always gives an excellent feel even if the placement of correct chord (in my version) is moved by 1 letter. It makes a huge difference in the chord progression!
