My view is that the whole nation ( pAKISTAN) is confused about their identity. Mohd Ali Jinnah , himself indulged in Alcohol etc which is "Mumnoon" ( if one undertands the word), according to Koran.
He must be turning in his grave at the turn of events IN Pakistan.
I support the formation of Pakistan else , india would have been at the receiving end with the turn of events there.
I tell all my Paki friends that i appreciate them supporting Pakistan but ASK THEM IF THEY WOULD LIKE TO SHIFT THERE. The answer is a BIG "NO".

Perhaps ,they would rather stay as second class citizens of any other country than go back to pakistan. Talk about Pride!!!! Hic!!

Anyway i am not a regular Paki Basher, besides there is nothing great that i can argue with nitwits about a country which is economically on external financial AID. AND ON THE VERGE OF Economic and Moral COLLAPSE.
TIME WILL PROVE IT .
Why did these guys leave Pakistan if they are in for so much of its support.

AND WHAT HAVE THEY ACHIEVED ELSE WHERE IN THE WORLD.
HOW MANY NOBLE PRIZES?

Wake up to the reality.
Had India not offered Americans foothold for the fight in Afganistan , Pakistan wouldn't have ever allowed any support for Americans on their soil against taliban.

I think i went off tangent on the topic.

Coming back to China and India.
China definitely holds an edge for while but then they too have their problems.
Socialism Popularly called as communism, "NEVER GETS YOU THE BEST FROM PRIVATE ENTERPRISE"
They realised this that and CHANGED THEIR WAY OF WORKING AFTER THE FALL OF Soviet Union.
Still along way to go, i think.

In the long run if china does not change into a Mixed Economy with a bent on capitalism , I think India will take over ...
AND HEY I HAVE SEEN ABSLOUTE POVERTY IN CHINA , ITS NOT ALL HUNKY DORY THERE.

Sounds good in the book.... Socialism Vs Communism.
In practice, Communism/Marxism/Socialism/Maoism are all sons of the same thought process, only the degree differs.
Most of the communist policy followers call themselves socialists.
Anyway since this is not a thread discussing Economic isms, nothing much to discuss.

@Shak---My friend i was not bashing Pakistan up there, just stating widely accepted and known facts. The intention was not to hurt Pakistan but the FALSE sense of Pride that they have about their country and their Anti-India centric responses.

My language must have been a little acidic there but the facts remain.

most of the one telling china is ahead than india, are talking like kids.. what do u think is ahead.. having more money?? that is something common all over the centuries and through out history... but what makes a civilization great and the other one not.. its how its developed sociall, mentally etc...

And with that I think India and China are both shit.. hence they have not progressed in my view... I see in india so many hatred among people of the same country... however we have one thing good that is democracy and im proud to have this.. you will learn it when u stay in a communist country that how important is democracy...

Take a look around in your house. You'll find atleast 5 items that are made in China. It has taken over the world with it's cheap products.
