Changing Pickups

    Heys dudesh's i need some advice.... I wanna convert my tansen strat into a fat strat ... i mean i wanto change the bridge pickup to a superdistortion and maybe even change the neck to the PAF pro....is it a good thing to do?? i have an rg370 for all the riffing .... i wanto to make this guitar a blues special....so please tell me if theyll fit...or suggest some kick ass single coilers whic i can buy in india...

    As in, you want to primarily play Blues with this axe, right?
    In that case a SuperD is not really the way to go.I think the Seymour Duncan 59 is available at Bajaao, you can try that...should do well for blues and rock.
    You will have to cut the pickguard for fitting the Humbucker though.

    EDIT:..Just checked Bajaao..they have some SD single coils too..the little 59 will go into your current guitar without any re-routing.

    or maybe you can try the red/blue lace sensors from fender. i've heard only praises for them.

    chk bajaao...thev got many Duncan single coils and also some Stacked Singlecoils(mini humbuckers) ....oh n do chk the reviews online before buying something
