Just to share my joy. I am buying a GRG170DX for my brother. A friend is getting it from Bhargava's Bandra for me this sunday. I got it in electric blue with a padded gig bag, total Rs. 11500 with bill and warranty. Does anyone think its not a good deal and I can get better in Mumbai or Bangalore, please let me know?
SA looks better due to carved body + it offers 3 pickups (which u can replace if u dont like the sound) - dunno about the neck though GRG170 deal looks fine enuff to me.
Bought one Bought the GRG170DX for my brother. Same as the attached pic. for 11500 got a GB&A gig bag free, plus a strap and 3 dunlop picks with a pick holder, and a cable. Brother is over the moon. Have not played it though, so no feedback on the sound. Feel is very good, though I don't think as good as the RG. Paint is the only one which is a small let down though, expected better. I hope my RG321 / 370DX will be better.
