    Hi Everyone,

    I have this Montana guitar -> https://en.woodbrass.com/product_info.php?products_id=31715&af=35

    The guitar has a fixed plastic type of bridge, i.e without any screws or such, so I dont know if it is moulded into the body or what. Now the bridge has cracked on the B string and hence there is some buzzing that is there.

    Do you know any reliable shops in bangalore where I can get this fixed. I paid almost Rs. 8000 for this and I don't want it to be spoilt by some amateur repairman. Also the action at the higher frets is very large, Do you think this can be rectified by lowering the bridge. Also, how will the bridge be lowered when it doesnt have any screws for adjustment?

    Thanks in Advance,
    Prashanth

    Acoustic guitar bridges are generally glued on. To lower them you have to file them. This is a very experimental thing so it's best to file a little and check the action each time. Unfortunately I don't know anyone in Bangalore who does much with acoustics.
