I bought these new D'Addario strings n they r freakin longgggggg,...... how r u supposed to get rid of the remaining string after its wound up on the knobs on the head? I tried cutting them with a small scissor, the scissor broke . Yeah,... dumb as it may be,..... some one help.
^ thats it ... i dunno but in india we kinda abuse tools ... use them for what they are not meant for ...
or if you dont have cutting pliers, or wire cutters ... just kink the wire ...bend it left bend it right ... give it a twist and the bugger (hey nanda!) would come off ... i use nail cutters tho .... got one especially for this purpose
